About Kingdom Ecology

Richard Roe

Kingdom Ecology was founded in 2007 by Richard Roe, CEnv MCIEEM MSc BSc.

Richard is a technically skilled and highly experienced ecologist, who began practising as a professional ecological consultant in 2001.

Richard has acquired extensive experience of conducting Habitat and Protected Species Assessments on large-scale and small-scale projects throughout the North West and the wider United Kingdom. Richard has expertise working with various protected species including great crested newts, badgers, water voles, otters, barn owls and bats. Richard holds several Natural England and Natural Resources Wales licenses to work with these species.

Richard takes a hands-on roll in the delivery of all projects at Kingdom Ecology, ensuring a first-class service is always provided to our clients.

Richard is a Chartered Environmentalist and a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environment Management. Richard adheres to the institute’s code of professional conduct in his work as a professional ecologist.
